Description
For good reason, the Mega Fish by Kyle Albers, a.k.a Deepest Reaches, is one of the most versatile and sought after surfboards throughout California. Its a fish, a mid, a glider and all round wave slayer combined into a singular piece of foam. At first glance, the board has a classic stretched fish outline with a flat deck and beveled rail structure which allows for great volume displacement and foils nicely into the tail. Flipping over, the mega has rounded entry point that goes into a tri-plane hull with a deep double barrel bonzer like concave running through the belly of the beast back to a tri-plane exit.
The flatter rocker, combined with Kyles genius bottom contours makes this one the fastest vessels on water and the extra flip in the nose allows for late entry when needed and hairy chest take offs youd expect from more performance style boards. The Mega Fish excels at points and rips in 1-12 foot surf. Not kidding, this thing can grovel like the best of them, but loves to party when the conditions are good to rad. Sizes range from 66 to 10 plus, just depends on the riders preference. Shorter would be more performance, mids bring out the ultra-trimmer in you and the longer ones gives off the glide of a life time.
