The Velocity is an open ocean specialist board that has seen success in many races and just as important in many great down wind runs. This year sees not only design improvements but also the introduction of Vault Technology. This hollow construction has been well tested and tuned to ensure it will perform in true open ocean conditions.
We have looked at all aspects of this shape and asked ourselves how can we improve its speed, and especially comfort and handling abilities. The feedback from paddlers about how much fun they are having on down wind runs has been awesome and so rewarding for our design team. The Velocity is still offered in our proven Pro Race Tech carbon construction. Without giving too much away to our competitors, this is our best ocean dugout yet.
