Description

Heres a design that finds its inspiration from the Wilderness designs of Bob Duncan and George Greenough. Weve taken a tri-plane hull and dropped single to double concave through the center panel. The side panels of the tri-plane are still in place to allow deep bottom turn penetration, while the concaves and glass-on side fins add more control to the hull platform. This board was designed to give those who are curious about hulls with a more user-friendly introduction to the concept, while also giving folks who are well-versed in riding displacement hulls a design with more control in critical surf. The boards is extremely fast and loose, and blends elements of the hull experience from both ends of the spectrum.
